The idea behind "The Legends" is to create a new addition to chess, with a touch of Vietnamese culture and history. In hopes of blowing a new wind into our history, giving people an excitement when it comes to knowing and learning about the past.
"THE LEGENDS" WAS RECOGNIZED AND WON FIRST PRIZE IN VIETNAM CREATIVE FESTIVAL.
CONCEPT
For this project, the chosen concept is warrior. Hence the name "The Legends", we decided to take people from the past who existed in mythology or had some mythical aspect and turned them into warriors.
ART DIRECTION
The design direction of these characters follows the style of geometry and leans forwards rigid edges to go with the concept of war and battlefield. For the color scheme, our main color of one side is gold and the opposing is silver. In combination with black and a hint of red. This combination brings a feeling of majesty.
